WAY-FM DFW GM Tim Dukes Promoted to Mid-South Regional Manager
(Colorado Springs CO, February 1, 2019) – WAY-FM Chief Operating Officer Lloyd Parker has announced that current Dallas/Ft Worth General Manager Tim Dukes has been named Mid-South Regional Manager over WAY-FM properties in Nashville and Clarksville, Tennessee; Louisville and Bowling Green, Kentucky, and Huntsville and Birmingham, Alabama.
Tim commented, “Joining WAY-FM in 2015 has given me some of the most enjoyable, and certainly the most fulfilling, years of my career. Louisville is my hometown, and I went to college in Nashville and started in radio there, so this is an especially exciting appointment to me.”
Parker added, “We are excited that Tim has accepted the role and challenge of managing our Mid-South Region. Tim is respected and uniquely qualified for this position with his many years of mainstream radio experience, plus his time on the pastoral staff at Gateway Church in DFW and as COO of the Dallas-based Halftime Institute. He’s going to do a great job!”
Tim will continue to manage WAY-FM in DFW until a new station manager is named for that market.
WAY-FM reaches into nearly 100 communities on FM signals in 26 states, and owns and operates stations in many top 100 markets including Dallas-Ft Worth, Denver, Portland, Nashville, West Palm Beach, Louisville, Ft. Myers and Huntsville. For more information, visit wayfm.com.
