November 9, 2016 (Nashville, TN)…StowTown Records is pleased to announce the addition of the veteran Southern Gospel group The Guardians to its growing roster of artists.
Founded in 1988, the quartet turned trio has watched their music land among the top 20 on Singing News Magazine charts. Yet the Group’s members Dean Hickman, Neil Uhrig and John Darin Rowsey remain committed to glorifying the name of the Lord, sharing the gospel and touching lives through their music.
“I have known Dean, Neil and John Darin many years now,” said label co-founder Ernie Haase. “To have The Guardians on our StowTown Records label is an honor. I cherish friendships that last, and I love talent that sings to things that are eternal. The Guardians do both! They are loving friends who truly honor God with their musical talents. Welcome to StowTown Records, my friends!”
“The Guardians are humbly honored to be part of the StowTown Record Label,” says Dean Hickman, one of the Group’s founding members. “To be associated with their leadership team of Ernie Haase, Landon Beene and Wayne Haun is a tremendous honor. Wayne, who produced the CD, is unsurpassed in our industry. His orchestration along with John Darin Rowsey’s vocal arrangements will enhance the ability of The Guardians to fulfill their number one goal – to minister.”
Lift Him Up will be The Guardians first release with StowTown Records, a project Haun describes as a symphonic work. Set to release on January 27, 2017, Lift Him Up will be distributed worldwide through Sony/Provident Distribution.
