It’s a new day for Tamla Records, the iconic Motown record label that was once home to artists like Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye. Originally created by Berry Gordy and now under the Motown Gospel branch of Capitol Music Group, the label has announced that fresh new things are ahead for 2025.
Now overseen by Motown Gospel’s Senior Vice President Walter Thomas, TAMLA Records has announced producer and songwriter Rodney Jerkins as the label’s main producer and partner.
In addition to the partnership with Jerkins, TAMLA has also announced a new signing: hip-hop artist Dante Pride. Congratulations Dante, and we can't wait to see what else is ahead!
