Heartfelt Music Video “Slow Down” From Nichole Nordeman Reaches 15 Million Views And Trending On Facebook In The Past Week
2 May 2016 – Nashville, Tenn – Just in time for Mother’s Day, one of the industry’s best storytellers and a mother herself – Nichole Nordeman – has released the music video for “Slow Down.” The music video, which features home footage of Nichole’s family as well as from some of her close friends and their families, has certainly struck a chord with viewers around the world. At press time, “Slow Down” has received 15 million views within just one week since it posted.the success of the video also boosted the album and the song into the top overall charts on iTunes (album and song charts). The song is from her latest EP, The Unmaking, which released in August with Capitol CMG.
“I don’t know of a more uttered or whispered phrase from a mother of any age, about her child of any age, than ‘It’s going by too fast,'” Nordeman shares about why she penned this song. “I feel like I spend my life trying to slow time. Trying to celebrate the growth and milestones of my children, and then secretly day dreaming about building a time machine in my garage, so I can return to rocking my babies at midnight. If you’ve ever looked at your child running across a field, or striding across a graduation stage, or walking down the middle aisle of a church clutching a bouquet, you’ll know why this song is special to me.”
