Gotee Records announces the signing of the husband and wife duo, AGUILAR, which is Gotee’s Courtnie Ramirez and her husband Edgar Aguilar. “Edgar and Courtnie have such a great heart to sing the worship songs being expressed in the Church in America and around the world, and then crossing those songs between the cultures,” shares Joey Elwood, President of Gotee Records. “I love how these two young worship leaders are blurring the lines of what it means to be a Global Body and for the Body to respond to one another’s expression of Worship. Here’s to the future of songs from the Church being the sound of all of humanity!”
AGUILAR is currently working on new music that will include six songs being released this fall on their debut EP. They also will be touring internationally in September with dates in Colombia and Peru.
Both artists have had success in their own right, but together they blend harmonies combining intimacy and energy into every lyric and melody. Edgar is a part of the team that leads worship at Elevation Church where he shares his many talents including singing, playing, songwriting, and translating music. His music has reached thousands of people all across the U.S. and Latin America on Instagram and YouTube. You can check him out on Instagram or Youtube @3dgaraguilar. Courtnie is a vibrant and talented singer and recording artist also signed to Gotee Records. She has garnered three Hot AC No. 1 singles. She initially burst onto the scene appearing in Season 11 of NBC’s “The Voice.” She has her own original music that you can check out on any streaming platform.
