Mike Novak, CEO of Educational Media Foundation (K-LOVE / Air1) has announced his retirement in the coming months. CMB Executive Director, Michelle Younkman, says, “I remember when Mike first started at EMF almost 20 years ago. He came from mainstream radio with a passion to serve our industry. That dedication never wavered during his tenure at EMF. It’s amazing to see how God has used K-LOVE and Air1 to impact His kingdom under Mike’s leadership. CMB was honored to have Mike serve as the CMB Chairman of the Board from 2008 until 2011. We are grateful to Mike for his commitment over the past twenty years.”
Novak joined EMF in November of 1998 and has been the CEO for the last eleven years. He will continue to serve as CEO as the EMF Board of Directors searches for his successor.
