Six-Time GRAMMY Winner Amy Grant Inducted Into Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame
Nashville, TN…. November 2, 2021 – Six-time Grammy-winner Amy Grant was officially inducted into The Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame last night as the Classes of 2020 and 2021 were officially honored during NaSHOF’s supersized 50th and 51st Anniversary Hall of Fame Gala. To honor her induction, Grant’s husband Vince Gill took the stage to perform her song “Breath of Heaven (Mary’s Song),” and NaSHOF member Gretchen Peters presented Grant.
Also announced yesterday, Grant will join a star-studded line-up of fellow Icons Billy Ray Cyrus, Clay Walker, Pam Tillis, Sara & Olivia Evans, Steve Wariner, Tracy Lawrence and Wynonna for “CMT’s A TENNESSEE KIND OF CHRISTMAS.” Premiering Wednesday, December 8th at 9p/8c, the artists will share holiday traditions, personal memories and unforgettable performances of all-time favorite Christmas songs from numerous iconic venues and outdoor locations in and around Nashville. Earlier this summer, Grant released the double disc, 30th anniversary editon of her iconic, 5x platinum album, Heart In Motion. She is currently on the last few weeks of a 42 city fall tour, performing songs that span her four-decade long career, including hits from Heart In Motion, to celebrate its milestone anniversary. In early December, Grant will do several Christmas shows with Michael W. Smith, followed by her and Gill’s annual Christmas at the Ryman Residency.
