COSTA MESA, CA (OCTOBER 04, 2021) Renowned worship leader and songwriter Phil Wickham and Transparent Productions announce his nationwide 2022 “Hymn of Heaven Tour” featuring special guest Josh Baldwin. The 32-city tour will be sponsored by Compassion International. Tickets are on sale today – click here to purchase.
This tour is named after his newest album release, Hymn of Heaven (Fair Trade Services), which features 13 songs, including his multiple-week No. 1 hit “Battle Belongs” and the current Mediabase Christian Audience No. 1 song, “House of the Lord.” This song is also No. 2 on Billboard’s National Christian Audience and Christian Indicator charts. This is his eighth studio album, and it has already amassed 90.3 million streams and 32.8 million cumulative video views since its release this summer.
“It’s been incredible to watch how these new songs have connected with people and church communities in the months since their release,” shares Phil Wickham. “Truly moved by it all. Now I can’t wait to gather in rooms all over the country to sing these songs and prayers together! I hope all of you can make it out to one (or several) of these nights!“
Throughout the process of crafting new music during a global pandemic that created unprecedented obstacles for the local church, Wickham saw an opportunity – the church wasn’t relegated to a building. It was happening in our homes and in our hearts. And in 2022 he will get to bring these songs to life in concert to take on a whole new meaning as believers gather together.
“Hymn of Heaven is full of praise and thankfulness, just lifting up the name of Jesus and speaking what we really know the reality is even though we don’t see it,” he says. “All I want to do is facilitate moments where people can encounter the presence of God.”
