Help 2.0 has Number 1 Billboard Gospel Music Chart Debut
New Single “I Luh God” #1 Top Digital Gospel Song
April 28, 2015 (NY/LA) – Erica Campbell is coming to a city near you! Coming on the heels of the number 1 debut of her album Help 2.0, Campbell announces the upcoming tour dates for her national tour, “Erica Campbell & Friends: The Help 2.0 Tour.” The national tour will hit 26 cities and will feature special guests on select dates. As previously announced, the tour will kick off May 2nd in New York City at the famed B.B. King Blues Club. She’ll then head to the Howard Theatre in D.C. on May 3rd. Other big cities include Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Cleveland, Atlanta, Chicago, and Detroit.
In addition to the tour, Erica will make several high profile TV appearances in the coming months. She’ll perform on VH1’s “Big Morning Buzz” on May 4th and on TBN’s “Praise The Lord” on June 4th. This June, Erica will be featured on the new season of Centric’s “Being,” a documentary series highlighting some of music and entertainment’s most dynamic figures.
Help 2.0, is the re-release of 2015’s Grammy® Award winning Best Gospel CD, and top selling album, Help, that has already garnered numerous other awards, including 8 Stellar Awards at this year’s 30th Annual music event, a Dove Award and a Soul Train Music Award win.
The 14-Track re-mix project, Help 2.0, features the single, “More Love,” a timely and inspirational song. Campbell’s “More Love,” music video premiered on VH1 and is currently seen on VH1, Centric and on line everywhere. The second of the two new solo tracks “I Luh God,” has been making waves and creating conversation across the internet this week. Not only is it the most talked about song, but it is the Number 1 digital gospel song in the country. Featuring LaShawn ‘Big Shiz’ Daniels, it’s a hot song that finds Erica embracing her inner ‘urban’ side with bounce track that is unforgettable.
Erica’s 8 Stellar Award wins included top honors Artist of The Year, CD of the Year and Female Artist of the Year. Her hit show “Mary Mary” on WE tv is in Season 4 and airs Thursday nights at 10pm EST.
