Natalie Grant Surpises Teen Who Raised Over $30,000 To Combat Human Trafficking

Lindsey Yoder is only 14, but making strides to combat human trafficking by walking 300 miles to raise money for Hope for Justice.

“I watched the movie Priceless and it has a lot to do with human trafficking and it broke my heart to see that happening to men and women all around the world. So, I did a lot of praying.”

The teen says God told her to walk…and she did. Starting in her Illinois hometown to the Hope for Justice U.S. office in Nashville.

Co-founder of Hope for Justice and Christian music artist Natalie Grant surprised Yoder on the final leg.

Yoder did her part on Saturday by crossing that finish line and raising at least $34,000.

Ok you guys – this is 14 year old Lindsey Yoder, and she’s my new hero. She saw the movie “Priceless” and was heartbroken by the reality of human trafficking. But instead of just being horrified by something and then going back to her everyday life, Lindsey turned her feelings in to action. In an effort to raise money for @hopeforjusticeintl, she decided to walk 300 miles from her small hometown in Illinois to Nashville, TN – home to our US headquarters for Hope For Justice. She’s been walking since May 28th, and she will complete her 300 mile journey TOMORROW. She’s had physical setbacks, had to use crutches at one point – BUT SHE DIDN’T QUIT. What an example for us all. So in the remaining final hours of her journey, I’m hoping as many as possible will donate to her fundraising page.
