Congratulations to Mike Murray who just shared about his new position as Head of Creative for Hillsong Music Publishing!
Mike has been working in Nashville with Christian record labels since 1997, serving 7 years with Capitol CMG, 5 years with Provident Label Group, 12 years with Integrity Music.
During those years, he has had the honor of working with GRAMMY, Dove Award and Stellar Award-winning artists and songwriters like Hillsong Worship, Leeland, Kari Jobe, All Sons & Daughters, Matt Redman, Mitch Wong, Lincoln Brewster, Israel & New Breed, Paul Baloche, William McDowell and more. Prior to his time with labels, Mike paid his “roadie” dues for a couple of years, touring with 4-Him and with Geoff Moore & The Distance.
When not listening to songs or connecting songwriters with one another, Mike – and his lovely wife, Melissa – can be found traveling somewhere extremely intriguing or hiking/biking/kayaking someplace mildly dangerous.
