Meet Winter Joy Steingard – Born at 6:39am – 5 lbs 11 oz // We did not expect we’d be meeting our Winnie today – @jesssteingard had a c section scheduled for Friday, but it seems someone had other plans. 😉 • • It seems none of our children are destined to be born without a little drama – and Winnie is no exception. Jess has now survived not one, but two placental abruptions, which are extremely painful and can be very dangerous to both mother and child. Thankfully the staff at Scripps Memorial Encinitas were so incredibly competent and caring, and knew exactly what to do. • • Baby and momma are both resting now. Thank you all for your love and prayers!
