Hope Media Group announces Tate Luck as the new Director of Audio Streaming. Since 2015 Tate has served as programming consultant and talent coach at the company he started, Tate Luck Media in Jacksonville, FL. He has written and produced imaging for stations across the country, including Boost 95-5, St. Louis; and NGEN Radio-Houston. He was a consultant with 104.9 The River from 2016 through 2019 and helped develop the station’s on-air talent, Mary and Josh in the morning, and Laura Chase middays.
Shawn Farrington, Chief of Innovation with Hope Media Group, shares, “I’ve worked with Tate for the past four years. His ear for texture, and strength as a talent coach has helped NGEN Radio grow as an all-digital brand. Tate is among the best imaging producers in our industry. I’m looking forward to working with Tate to innovate on the digital streaming formats to create even more (future) experiences of God’s transforming love.”
Tate’s extensive experience includes becoming program director at the age of 22 of Christian AC WNOW-Charlotte. He helped launch Christian AC 91.9 WECM-Charlotte in 1993, launched the first ever full-time Christian CHR/rock station, WUFM, Radio U-Columbus in 1996. After programming Radio U, in early 2000 he launched the first Christian CHR-Internet only station, ACAZA.com which was part of the Clear Channel Interactive Group.

Blind from birth, Tate was born in North Carolina. He knew radio was what he wanted to do at an early age with his first on-air gig at the age of 13. Tate's dedication and belief in the power of Christian radio for the last 30 years is evident in his passion for working with radio stations throughout the country. Tate has been married to AJ luck for 21 years and they have one song, Marshall.
