Focus on the Family & Songwriter Tony Wood Launch 28-Day Christmas Devotional

Focus on the Family, in partnership with Tyndale House Publishers, announces the October 7, 2025, release of Manger Throne: Celebrating Christmas through Song by songwriter Tony Wood.

Based on the 2024 Dove Award–winning Christmas Recorded Song of the Year, the book is a 28-day December devotional based on original holiday songs the author has written with or for Phil Wickham, Michael W. Smith, Zach Williams, We Are Messengers, Keith and Kristyn Getty, Francesca Battistelli, Big Daddy Weave, Tasha Layton, for KING & COUNTRY, Kari Jobe, Jordan St. Cyr, Jason Crabb, Mandisa, Paul and Hannah McClure, Jonathan Cain, Stars Go Dim, Point of Grace, Selah, and others.

Each daily chapter includes song lyrics, a Scripture reading, a brief devotional, and a prayer. Several days feature “The Story Behind the Song.” In addition, there are QR codes linking to playlists at Apple Music, Spotify, and YouTube that include all the songs in the book. Tony is currently a staff songwriter for CURB/Word Music Publishing.
