Born in New Jersey to Polish immigrant parents—who named her after Tina Turner—Parol discovered songwriting as a source of healing after being diagnosed with scoliosis at age 8. Raised in the Buffalo area, she signed her first publishing deal at 16. While studying at NYU's prestigious Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music, she inked a record deal with Universal Motown at 19. By 21, Parol scored a Top 40 Billboard Pop hit as both an artist and songwriter with “Who's Got Your Money?” and toured nationwide.
Relocating to Los Angeles and then Nashville in 2012, Parol established herself as a sought-after songwriter across genres. Her songs have been recorded by Britney Spears, Celine Dion, Sabrina Carpenter, Lady A, Tenille Townes, Dallas Smith, Jerrod Niemann, Vince Gill, and more. She’s won back-to-back Canadian Country Music Association Songwriter of the Year awards, and her music has been licensed over 250 times in film, TV, and major ad campaigns.
Parol’s empowering anthem “Live Your Story” served as the theme for Disney's Dream Big Princess campaign and continues to be performed in Disney On Ice shows worldwide. In 2025, Parol was inducted into the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame.
Curb Records Sr. Director, Publishing/A&R, Trevor Mathiesen, shares, “From the first writing session I booked with Tina, it was apparent that she had a special combination of talent, drive, and dependability. She has delivered with each artist I’ve put her with and can connect with writers and artists on a personal level as well as musical. Her faith and testimony are powerful and serve as a limitless source of inspiration for her song writing. We are genuinely excited and honored to partner with Tina during this season of her already impressive career.”
Parol also shares, “Writing songs is such a blessing. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to work with the fantastic team at Curb | Word for this next chapter of my career. Being able to write songs about my faith is a dream come true. I look forward to all that is in store for us!”
In February 2022, Parol underwent a life-changing 10-hour, 14-level spinal fusion surgery to correct her severe scoliosis, followed by complications that collapsed her lungs and required three weeks in ICU. Relying on her faith in Jesus, she relearned to walk, breathe, and sing. After surgery, she returned to creating music with a renewed calling toward Christian songs, collaborating with artists and writers like Hannah Kerr, Micah Kuiper, Tedd T, Bobby Strand, Natalie Layne, and Benji Cowart among others.
