Winans and Collins’ performance during American Idol’s season 22 finale sparked significant excitement within the Christian/Gospel community and beyond. Their performance of Winans' chart-topping hit, "Goodness of God," was met with widespread acclaim, amassing over 45 million views on Instagram alone.
CeCe Winans, a 15-time Grammy winner, recognized something special in Collins and saw their collaboration as an opportunity to mentor him and share her years of experience with the next generation of artists.
