Debut album DEPTH To Release August 14
Nashville, Tenn. – Gospel Music Association IMMERSE Conference Winner Aryn Michelle is prepping to launch several events to accompany the release of her highly anticipated debut album, Depth. Since sharing the stage with artists such as Natalie Grant and Matthew West at Ichthus Festival, Aryn has been performing a series of shows throughout the southeastern region, which includes an upcoming performance on August 20th at Nashville’s iconic Bluebird Café.
Aryn’s Bluebird Café appearance will be during “Chick Singer Night,” the nation’s original and longest running songfest for female artists. For the past 25 years, “Chick Singer Night” has featured the top up-and-coming female singer-songwriters in key venues in 15 cities. Nashville’s “Chick Singer Night” will also feature performances by Michelle Attardi, Ashley Brandenburg, Briana Renea and Ingrid Andress. Tickets are $12 and go on sale at 8:00am on August 13 through this link: http://bluebirdcafe.com/event.cfm?id=214990&cart
The show at the Bluebird comes on the heels of her debut album, Depth, which releases on August 14. Depth will feature 11 original songs, including “Fight The Good Fight,” a collaboration with artist and songwriter Derek Webb. Each song on the album contains fresh and compelling lyrics, unique to Aryn Michelle.
“With this album, I wanted to go to a place that wasn’t safe, that asked some hard, real questions that I myself often struggle with,” Aryn explains. “What does doubt look like? What does pride look like? How do we deal with those things? In our musical landscape, we need more conversation that might be harder to handle.”
As excitement grows surrounding the release of her album, Aryn will conclude her tour with an album-release show in her hometown of Fort Worth, TX.
