View this post on Instagram May 25, 2020 was yet another turning point in our history because the ugly head of racism once again was on display in our country. Martin Luther King Jr. said, “In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends”. So, on behalf of the Gospel Music Association, our hearts are broken, and we raise our voices to say that we stand in support of people of color and we understand that injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. These are polarizing and divisive times, our prayer is that it leads to conversations about racial reconciliation in a way that is honest and respectful, personal but safe, and most importantly Christ-centered. Let us continue to love and support one another, seek real solutions, and, most of all, pray and cling to the word of God and the music that directs, comforts and heals.⠀ ⠀ “Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace at all times and in every way.
