(New York, NY Aug 7 2018) Urban contemporary superstar and singer-songwriter Jonathan McReynolds’s landmark album “Make Room” is entering its 20th week in the top ten of Soundscan’s Gospel charts, landing at #3 in Top Gospel Consumption and #6 in Nielsen’s Current Gospel Charts. “Make Room,” released last March, is an album of all-new original material from the young artist, recorded completely live at a May 2017 concert in Jonathan’s hometown of Chicago, which was the basis of his TV and digital streaming special “Jonathan McReynolds: Make Room.” The special had its national broadcast premiere on TVOne in March, followed by a June exclusive digital premiere in partnership with global streaming giants TIDAL.

On August 16th, Jonathan will be appearing at the Black Music Honors in Nashville to honor gospel legends Bebe and Cece Winans, following a mid-August promotional trip to New York City. Jonathan will make an appearance on Fox Good Day NY the morning of August 14th, followed by a live session at Paste Magazine the same afternoon, to be streamed live on Facebook and YouTube.

Next month, Jonathan will embark on his headlining “Make Room” tour, which has already sold out more than half of its originally-announced dates, including Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Georgia, and Virginia dates. A second show at Knitting Factory has already been added and sold out, with a new date in Columbus, OH selling fast.
