Singing News Golden Mic Awarded to The LifeFM Radio Network’s Rodney Baucom

Greenville, South Carolina – Rodney Baucom, Program Director and Get-Up and Go Morning Show Host at The LifeFM Radio Network was recently awarded the Golden Mic Award by Singing News magazine. Identified as America’s oldest and largest Southern Gospel Music (SGM) magazine, Singing News recognizes excellence in Christian broadcasting and features recipients of the accolade in its monthly publication.

“I’m thankful to be recognized for doing a profession that I enjoy so much. One of the keys to happiness is to find joy in your vocation,” says Baucom, who has been an influential presence in the media industry for over three decades. “I love my job.”

Since 2011, Baucom has been utilizing his talents on air at The LifeFM, a network consisting of 24 stations broadcasted in more than ten states. The non-commercial, all-Southern Gospel music format is a favorite for listeners of all ages, who have come to appreciate Baucom’s passion and professionalism. Southern Gospel fans in the Upstate can tune into 103.1FM or 90.5FM and hear it for themselves.
