Curb Records band We Are Messengers kicks off 2025 by celebrating the RIAA Gold certification of their powerful multi-week #1 anthem “Come What May.” The track, which has become a fan favorite, continues to resonate with listeners, cementing its place as one of the band’s signature hits. The achievement comes as part of a milestone year for the band, with this being their second RIAA Certified Gold single in a 12-month period following “Maybe It’s Ok” and further solidifying their impact in Christian music.
Last week, they also celebrated the release of thedeeply personal ballad, “Somewhere In Her Dreams,” available February 7. (Listen HERE.) Written by frontman Darren Mulligan for his wife, Heidi, the track offers a raw, vulnerable glimpse into their relationship. The song showcases Mulligan's heartfelt vocal delivery, underscoring the couple's deep love and mutual belief in one another, imperfections and all.
“I met my wife Heidi when we were just kids and much of her is still a mystery all these years later,” shares Mulligan. “She has changed my world and I’m still glad to be somewhere in her dreams.”
Acknowledging their respective insecurities, the Irish frontman finds refuge inside the relationship the couple shares in the perceptive new song. Assuring Heidi that she’s seen, known and loved, Mulligan wraps a raw vocal around poetic lyrics that hold space for their obvious imperfections and highlight their mutual belief in one another. Mulligan wrote “Somewhere In Her Dreams” with Dan Muckala, who also produced the original selection. The song marks the latest in a series of love songs dedicated to Heidi, following several tracks on 2019’s Hills of Tyrone.
