“The Bride Of Martin Luther (As Told By Littles),” from Five Solas Media, in association with Reformed Baptist Church in Riverside, California, will receive the award for Best Short Form Video (Church Media) at the 2022 NRB Media and Special Service Awards, to be presented during NRB’s upcoming convention in Nashville March 8-11.
Produced by Troy and Melissa Lamberth and directed by Troy Lamberth, the live action film recounts the influential life story of Martin Luther’s wife, Katharina von Bora. “The Bride of Martin Luther”—along with additional “As Told By Littles” titles—utilizes adult actors whose voices are overdubbed by children. The films creatively weave together history, humor and Gospel Truth to captivate viewers of all ages.
Five Solas Media, in association with Reformed Baptist Church, also took home honors for Best Short Form Video (Church Media) at last year’s NRB Media and Special Service Awards for their title “John Calvin (As Told By Littles).” Portraying the life of one of the Church’s great reformers, the film was produced by Troy and Melissa Lamberth and directed by Troy Lamberth.
“We are very excited to receive this award for a second year in a row,” said Five Solas Media’s Troy Lamberth. “The subject of history sounds dry and dusty for some, but this milestone reminds us that our movies are really connecting with people all over the world. Winning this award has encouraged us to keep on making these types of films to help families learn more about Christian history and God’s amazing grace throughout time. Soli Deo Gloria!”
