Integrity Music Europe has elevated Mark Bowater to general manager, positioning him to spearhead the Christian music label’s expansion across the continent.
The promotion, announced October 6th, places Bowater at the helm of a diverse roster that includes chart-topping artists such as Philippa Hanna, Tim Hughes, CalledOut Music, Vineyard Worship UK & Ireland, Outbreakband, and KXC Worship. As part of Cook Media Global’s ministry network, Integrity Music Europe has established itself as a significant force in the region’s Christian music landscape.

Bowater’s responsibilities extend beyond artist management. He will oversee Integrity Europe’s Integrated Music Rights division, which represents an impressive array of global talent including Darlene Zschech, Dunsin Oyekan, Celtic Worship, Sinach, YADA Worship, Kaestrings, and Bridge Music (India).
The newly appointed general manager will report directly to Jonathan “JB” Brown, chief global officer of Cook Media Global, and join the senior leadership team under Integrity president Blaine Barcus. This transition marks a natural progression from his previous role as business development director.
Under Bowater’s leadership, the European team spanning A&R, operations, client development, marketing, acquisitions, and content strategy will work to strengthen the label’s position in both local and international markets.
“Integrity Music exists to nurture artistry and develop songwriters that help people worldwide know the revelation and presence of God,” Brown said. “Mark’s impact has been significant in connecting us with artists across Europe to serve the local church, as well as creating highways into other parts of the world to reach the Global Church.”
Bowater expressed optimism about the timing of his new role, pointing to broader trends in Christian music consumption. “Having the opportunity to serve this team and in turn, our artists and writers, really is a privilege,” he said. “God is on the move, people are discovering Jesus every day, church attendance is up, and Christian and Gospel music is one of the fastest growing genres on the planet.”
He added: “I’m excited for this next season as we help to create and release music that echoes what’s happening around the world.”
The appointment comes at a time when Christian and Gospel music continues to gain mainstream traction, with streaming numbers and live attendance showing sustained growth across Europe and globally.
