K-LOVE announced a significant international expansion driven by new partnerships in both Africa and Europe. Through a partnership with Radio Vita, a Christian radio outlet in Milan, Italy, K-LOVE will hit the airwaves alongside the world’s largest athletic stage.
Segmented K-LOVE programming went live in Italy on Friday, February 6 via Digital Audio Broadcast (DAB). Local programming will remain in Italian, while K-LOVE programming will air in English initially and add Italian language segments over time. Milan listeners will hear a mix of both K-LOVE and Radio Vita programming throughout the day as more than 1.5 million visitors flock to the region for the games.
“We are excited and honored to bring Positive, Encouraging K-LOVE to new audiences in Milan, and the timing couldn’t have been better,” said Tom Stultz, K-LOVE CEO. “Listeners have long been able to access our programming worldwide through the K-LOVE App, but bringing it to the airwaves will open the door for even more people to move closer to Jesus.”
Later this month, K-LOVE will also begin broadcasting in Zambia, reaching into portions of the Congo, through a partnership with Faith Radio and Central Africa Baptist University. There, programming will remain in English, as that is the primary language in Zambia.K-LOVE Expands Internationally Into Africa & Europe
