Angel Studios and Watch Wonder Project have announced a new upcoming historical drama based on the life of George Washington. Called Young Washington, the film will feature a Christian music favorite in one of the starring roles.
Joel Smallbone from For King and Country will play William Fairfax in the movie, who acts as a rival to a young George Washington.
Based on the bestselling biography by Ron Chernow, Young Washington is scheduled to release July 4, 2026. You can learn more about the film on The Hollywood Reporter right HERE.
