What customers or clients does your company serve?

We believe many in the gospel music space have yet to discover the true value of their music. That’s where Open On Sunday comes in.
Open On Sunday is a catalog acquisition company, so providing financing for music catalog owners is our main focus. But being in the music space has also afforded us the opportunity to partner with many of our clients and collaborate on exciting projects to support their legacy.
For example, we co-own the rights to the BB King catalog and recently teamed up with an all-star cast of new artists to remake a once-lost classic BB King album, titled "Lucille Talks Back.” The album is produced by Meshell Ndegeocello and features eight tracks.
Notable artists include Ink, Eric Gales, Avery Sunshine, and Anne Nesby. But perhaps the most powerful performance is a soulful gospel classic delivered by Ledisi, titled “Have Faith.”
We’re super excited about the feedback we’ve received thus far. The album release party in Memphis was a huge success, and we’re looking forward to considerations in the upcoming awards season.
You can listen to the album and buy a souvenir vinyl here.
Since our founding in 2018, we've successfully purchased more than 200 catalogs in all genres of music. Gospel has always been an important pillar of our overall portfolio. We’re proud to own works from artists such as Matthew West, Jason Nelson, Charles Jenkins, Deon Kipping, and Marquis Boone.
We purchase both publishing and master recordings from IP owners, working with artists, producers, songwriters, and record labels. Our growing catalog list includes high-quality works featuring artists such as DaBaby, Anderson .Paak, B.B. King, Drake, Travis Scott, Luke Bryan, Daddy Yankee, Keith Sweat, and Ghostface Killa.
Open On Sunday has an extended partnership with Nashville songwriter Liz Rose, who was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
We also have an ongoing media partnership with Digital Music News, producing video content from music conferences and festivals across the country. You can find Open On Sunday sponsored news updates here.
What are some of the key features Open on Sunday offers? Who would benefit most from your services?
At Open On Sunday, we afford clients the flexibility to tailor their catalog financing depending on current needs. IP owners, for example, can sell either all or just a portion of their music catalog. We also understand that music is personal. That’s why, at Open On Sunday, we include a buyback option, with built-in terms, providing peace of mind for songwriters who may want to repurchase their music down the road.
