Recording artist and author Shai Linne will release his lyrical story based on his hit song "Penelope Judd" next month (B&H Publishing / B&H Kids). Linne's song, "Penelope Judd," was written in 2008 as his first children's song. It quickly became one of his most popular songs to date, and a perfect song to be adapted into a book.

This book follows a young girl living in a very messy land filled with only children who are not kind, constant fighting, and a general atmosphere of sadness and dirtiness. Penelope feels hopeless, but one day she receives a special message that changes everything.
This lyrical story helps kids see that, like Penelope, people live in a broken, messy, sinful world. But long ago, a Prince left His perfect home in heaven to come to earth, where sin and death are everywhere. The words in this book follow the song's lyrics, allowing kids to read and listen simultaneously.
