Christian and gospel music are headed back to prime time with the American Idol season finale happening Sunday, May 18 on ABC.
On this week’s episode of the show, they announced that Dove and Grammy award-winners Brandon Lake and Kirk Franklin would be joining this season’s final episode this coming weekend.
This season of the singing competition has been special for Christian music. Many artists this round have performed faith-based songs and an entire Easter Sunday special that featured CeCe Winans, Brandon Lake and more.
The American Idol season finale will air this Sunday on 8pm ET on ABC.
