ABOUT GMA

Founded in 1964, the GMA serves a richly diverse community of creatives and professionals within the Christian and Gospel music industry. Through the GMA Foundation and the GMA Gospel Music Hall of Fame, we aim to preserve the legacies of our genre’s trailblazers while celebrating the work of today’s artists through worldwide events like the GMA Dove Awards.

Providing news, resources, and training to equip and strengthen our creative community - from aspiring artists to industry professionals.

Supporting creative individuals that are the heart of the Christian and Gospel community with everything from networking events to mental & spiritual counseling.

  • Legacy

Telling the story of our music’s legacy through the GMA Gospel Music Museum & Center, a tourist destination, event space, and studio space located on Nashville’s historic Music Row.

STATEMENT OF FAITH

 

1. We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God 2 Timothy 3:16

2. We believe that one God exists in three persons: the Father, Son and Holy Spirit 1 Timothy 1:5

3. We believe in the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, His death and resurrection for the forgiveness of our sins. And that He is  with the Father in heaven. Ephesians 1:7

4. We believe those who profess faith in Jesus Christ and the Word of God are born again. Romans 10:10-11

5. We believe in the power and guidance of the Holy Spirit. John 14:26-27

6. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in Christ and the evidence of that unity being shown by how we love one another.  John 13:35
