Jeremy and Hannah Gifford are excited to announce the launch of new management company, Open Hand Management. Both experienced managers within the industry, most recently at Round Table Management, Jeremy and Hannah’s combined strengths and experience come together to form a company focused on meeting an artist’s creative needs as well as their business needs. “There is so much room for creativity within the management side of our industry, and we fully commit to focusing on what every artist needs individually,” Hannah says. “Nothing is a formula and nothing can be replicated, only stewarded.”
Open Hand Management launches with an impressive roster of artists including:
Dwan Hill
Franni Cash
Hopeful.
Relient K
The Choir Room
Jeremy Gifford has worked with multiple artists throughout his career including The Head and the Heart, Black Pumas, and We The Kingdom. He got his start in music traveling with artists and developing his management skills on the road. “One of my first tours was in a Scion xB,” Jeremy says. “Not ideal for gear or humans, but we made it work.” Jeremy spent the early 2000s as a touring member of Lovedrug. It was the era of Mapquest directions and Napster-into-streaming, which laid the foundation for how he works today. Over time he found himself drawn to supporting artists in a leadership role and moved into full-time management, his background as an artist giving him a foundation in honesty and empathy for the artist path.
Hannah Gifford began her career on the road selling merch for artists like Kacey Musgraves, Tenth Avenue North, Plumb, and more. In 2020, she moved into a role at Street Talk Media where she cut her teeth in artist management before taking a position at Round Table Management in 2021. “In the past 5 years, I've learned that artist management is truly about partnership, relationship, and trust,” Hannah says. “Songs, branding, relationships, hard work, -- they all matter! But at the end of the day, I'm standing next to the artist in unity, looking ahead at the vision and plan with focus and intention -- together.”
Jeremy and Hannah are both grateful for their time spent together at Round Table Management, and look forward to teaching their kiddos, Ozzy (4) and Sunny (1) that their dreams can become a reality if they take the first step to action and try it.
