
American Idol celebrated Easter with a special three-hour “Songs of Faith” episode on Sunday, April 20 on ABC and some of Christian music's favorite artists delivered soul-stirring performances.
Cece Winans returned to the Idol stage following her critically acclaimed performance last season, which became one of the most-watched moments of the year across social platforms and streaming. The overwhelming audience response made her an easy choice to return for this year’s Easter celebration.

In addition to the star-studded guest lineup, judges Carrie Underwood, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan each stepped away from the judging panel to perform songs that reflect their personal faith and musical roots.
