Two-time GRAMMY® Award winners for KING & COUNTRY have struck gold as the Recording Industry Association of America has certified the group’s current album Run Wild. Live Free. Love Strong. Gold, signifying sales of 500,000 albums. In addition, for KING & COUNTRY’s smash single, “The Proof Of Your Love,” from the band’s debut album Crave, and “Fix My Eyes,” the crossover hit and first single from Run Wild. Live Free. Love Strong. were also certified Gold by the RIAA.
Fervent Records recording artist and hit songwriter, Francesca Battistelli, was recently honored at a small gathering of label, industry partners, family and bandmates for her second RIAA-Certified Gold record for the GRAMMY® Award winning and No. 1 single “Holy Spirit.”
GRAMMY® Nominated MercyMe’s Welcome To The New (2014) has been honored with RIAA Gold Certification, marking the sixth gold album for the band in addition to a double platinum album and a platinum video. Welcome To The New earned two GRAMMY® nods, multiple GMA Dove Award honors and an American Music Award nomination. In addition, the album boasts three No. 1 singles with “Greater,” “Flawless” and “Dear Younger Me,” and one Top 5 single with “Shake.” MercyMe is planning to unveil a new record in 2017.
Tenth Avenue North releases their fifth studio project, Followers, today. This project has already produced the No. 1 song at CHR radio with the debut single “What You Want.” Leading up to this album release, the group has posted multiple lyric videos, each accompanied by a video journal from lead singer Mike Donehey sharing the meaning behind the songs. GRAMMY® nominated Skillet’s acclaimed record RISE (2013) received RIAA Gold Certification a week before the debut of their tenth studio album UNLEASHED, available August 5. Thanking fans across the globe, the band posted a video to social media expressing their appreciation, along with a surprise teaser for Panheads to be revealed July 29 at midnight.
GRAMMY® nominated rock band RED has received its second RIAA Gold Certification for its album End of Silence, which was the group’s Essential Records debut. To celebrate the album’s 10-year anniversary, RED will release a 10th Anniversary Edition on June 3, featuring two never-before-released songs as well as acoustic versions of some of the album’s biggest songs.
Phil Wickham’s acclaimed single “This Is Amazing Grace” was honored with RIAA Gold Certification for both sales and streams of the song off of his 2013 project, The Ascension. Reaching No. 1 on Billboard’s National Christian Audience Chart, “This Is Amazing Grace” received top honors at the 2015 BMI Christian Awards for Song of the Year and earned Wickham three nominations at this year’s 46th Annual GMA Dove Awards, including a nod for Song of the Year.
GRAMMY® nominated rock band RED (Essential Records) received a RIAA Gold Certification for their single “Breathe Into Me” from their album, End of Silence. This honor comes on the heels of their sixth GMA Dove Award win for “Rock Album of the Year” for their recent release, Of Beauty and Rage (2015).
