The Gospel Music Association (GMA) announced another round of performances for the 50th Annual GMA Dove Awards, including a tribute celebrating Bill and Gloria Gaither.
Rascal Flatts, Point of Grace and Phil Keaggy, and comedians Henry Cho, Nate Bargatze and John Crist have all signed on to perform and honor Michael W. Smith during the ‘35 years of Friends: Celebrating The Music Of Michael W. Smith’.
In addition to the beloved trio, whose founding member Denise Jones hails from Norman, Oklahoma, this year’s honorees included acclaimed worship singer/songwriter Dennis Jernigan and GRAMMY®-winning gospel vocalist and pianist Smokie Norful.
Presented by GRAMMY®-nominated industry leaders NewSong, the inaugural outing will also showcase multi-GRAMMY®-nominated, Dove Award-winning artists Point of Grace, Avalon and Nicole C. Mullen, as well as GRAMMY® and Dove Award-winning singer/songwriters Bob Carlisle and Rebecca St. James.
