Chart-topping, Dove Award-winning band The Afters and award-winning songwriter Jason Gray have announced the “Live On Forever” Tour this fall with special guest David Dunn. Presented by Prison Fellowship International, the fall tour kicks off Sept. 15, and is slated to hit 18 cities during the months of September and October.
The Afters have garnered their sixth No. 1 with their latest “Shadows” earning the top spot on the Billboard Christian Rock Chart while the single continues to clip the Billboard Hot AC chart, hitting No. 7 this week. Found on their fifth album, Live On Forever, the track sets the tone of the record with its message of motivation and inspiration. Live On Forever released in the fall of 2016, and emerged out of a season of trials for the band, serving as a reminder of God’s faithfulness and strength in our moments of weakness.
Following the recent debut of their acclaimed studio album Live On Forever, The Afters are taking their new music to fans across the country as they head out on the Love Riot Tour alongside Newsboys and Ryan Stevenson. The tour will hit venues all across the US, making stops in cities such as New York City, Chicago, Houston and more.
The Afters’ highly-anticipated fifth studio album Live On Forever is available now, hitting nearly three years after their previous debut, Life Is Beautiful, which made its mark on the Billboard 200. Already a favorite among critics, reviewers have described Live On Forever as “innovative pop,” saying the music has a “fresh sound and vibe.”
The Afters have been busy in the studio, preparing for the September 9 release of their fifth studio album Live On Forever, which is available for preorder now on iTunes and Amazon Music. Upon preordering, fans will instantly unlock the album’s title track, which hit the top 5 on the Billboard Christian Hot AC radio chart and top 10 on the Billboard National Christian Audience chart, along with the band’s new single “Battles,” which recently released to radio.
