The Gospel Music Association (GMA) announced all-star presenters for the 49th Annual GMA Dove Awards, including Bart Millard, Bill Gaither, Dr. Bobby Jones, Chris Tomlin, Deborah Joy Winans, Devon Franklin, Jasmine Murray, Mark Lowry, Marvin Sapp, Matt Maher, Matthew West, Pat Barrett, Ricky Dillard, Russ Taff and Tasha Cobbs Leonard.

Beth Moore, Dr. Bobby Jones, Brandon Heath, Chonda Pierce, Jaci Velasquez, John Gray, Karen Peck Gooch, Kim Fields, Lauren Daigle, Mandisa, Miel San Marcos, Gov. Mike Huckabee, Montell Jordan, Trace Adkins, Travis Cottrell and Tye Tribbett were added to the all-star lineup. The 48th Annual GMA Dove Awards is set for October 17 at Lipscomb University’s Allen Arena in Nashville. Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) will exclusively air the awards show on October 22 at 8 p.m. CST. Limited tickets are available here.
It was 35 years ago when Dr. Bobby Jones was introduced to the world of Gospel through the premiere of “Bobby Jones Gospel” on Black Entertainment Television in 1980. Since that initial partnership which helped established BET to get off the ground, “Bobby Jones Gospel” has become the longest continuously running original series on cable television as well as all other networks. Dr. Jones served as the host and executive producer.
