Donnie McClurkin’s tribute to gospel legend Andraé Crouch at the recent BET Awards reminded us that we can never under-estimate the power of the Gospel. As the camera panned the audience during McClurkin’s performance of the timeless Crouch classic, “The Blood Will Never Lose Its Power” those at home witnessed several in attendance singing along. Some with their eyes closed and some with their hands lifted up regardless of their surroundings, it was evident that the roots of gospel music goes deep.
